My name is Rebecca and I have been writing music as long as I can remember. My mom said when I was young, she remembers me singing in my car seat. When I was old enough to recall memories, I could still see myself resting my feet on the back of dad’s headrest while he drove, looking out the window and murmuring to myself on road trips. I spent those hours imagining music in my mind. Not just stringing words together, but designing them around a melody. Before I ever saw a staff with notes, I would sing the harmonies to a piece. I imagined what instruments would play along with my lyrics. Without understanding musical theory or concepts, I always had a passion for creating music.
